Project Overview by GETTYS
GETTYS Hong Kong designed Mamoz, the newest bar in Hong Kong's Causeway Bay. GETTYS' overall design, inspired by Barolo wines, mixes various textures and materials, including bronze and leather furnishings with soft upholstery and walls swathed in damask-patterned leather.
One highlight features the eight meter long bar handcrafted by San Juan Ventures from Lychee wood. Gettys and San Juan Ventures worked together closely to refine the design concept into a stunning element that would compliment the overall bar design and showcase the natural characteristics of this material, specifically its unique live edge. The elegant bar spans 5,000 sq. feet across the two top floors of the new building Cubis, including the two main bar areas, two lift lobbies, washrooms and a small balcony.
Mamoz boasts suburb views towards the city and Victoria Harbour with its floor to ceiling windows. GETTYS' client, Sing On Company Limited, was pleased with their initial design work of the Heichinrou Restaurant in Hong Kong's Times Square.
