Business Operations
Our Bali team includes experienced, management-level wood experts who specialize in sourcing exotic materials throughout Indonesia. Additionally, we work with full staff carpenters and kiln masters to perform all kiln drying and finishing on site as well as an in-house shipping department.
San Juan Ventures sets itself apart through our personal involvement in each and every piece of wood we fabricate. Unlike many operations exporting 'production' quality goods, we select, fabricate and finish each of our products with hands-on attention to detail. Our personal involvement in each order shipped is apparent not only in the uniqueness of our product but also the high level of quality in our carpentry and finishing.
San Juan Ventures partners with a local Chicago metal works company, to design exceptional one-of-a-kind custom furnishings which combine our beautiful exotic slabs with exceptional metal bases or details. Consider submitting your drawings for a custom base and we will provide a quote and finish options.
Our flooring collection is available through Birger Juell (birgerjuell.com) and Holly Hunt (hollyhunt.com) at the Chicago Merchandise Mart and our Slab, Furniture and Architectural Elements collections are available through DeGiulio Kitchen Design's showroom in Wilmette, IL (degiuliokitchens.com). Our full product collection is available by appointment to the trade at our new Chicago showroom located at 668 West Hubbard Street opening March, 2009.
